Acceptable Use Policy
What FlyProof documents are — and the uses we refuse outright.
What a FlyProof document is
It is a formatted statement of a trip you entered. FlyProof is not an airline, an agency or a booking channel; it holds no inventory and is connected to no reservation system. It exists for legitimate travel paperwork: an expense claim that needs a flight receipt, a readable itinerary for a group or an employer, a planning sheet for a visa file where a self-prepared itinerary is genuinely accepted.
What it is not, and cannot be made into
It is not a ticket and not a reservation. FlyProof never mints a booking reference or PNR, never produces a boarding pass, and never generates a scannable barcode in a boarding-pass format. Any reference field on a document is one you typed yourself; the visa-facing formats have no reference field at all and print a status line instead. Nothing FlyProof prints will resolve on an airline’s website, because no airline was involved.
Prohibited uses
You may not present a generated document as a confirmed ticket, an issued reservation, or a record issued by an airline. You may not use one to attempt to board an aircraft, to claim reimbursement for travel you did not take, to deceive an employer, insurer, court or authority about travel you have not arranged, or in connection with any fraudulent visa or immigration scheme. You may not remove or obscure a SPECIMEN marking, alter a document to imply an issuer that did not issue it, or resell or re-badge one as an airline product.
Where a rule requires a real booking
Several countries condition entry on holding a ticket or a booked onward journey. Where that is the published rule, a self-prepared document does not meet it, and we say so on the country pages rather than implying otherwise. Buy a refundable ticket or place a real hold in those cases; use a generated document only where one is genuinely accepted.
Samples and specimen marking
Sample and demo output anywhere on this site is marked as a sample or specimen and is not valid for travel or for presentation to any authority. The onward-travel and visa formats carry a SPECIMEN marking by design, and removing it is a prohibited use rather than a formatting preference.
Enforcement
We refuse service where we identify misuse and we cooperate with lawful requests from authorities. Questions about whether your use case qualifies: support@getflyproof.com.
