Why the free tier is the whole product
The generator runs entirely in your browser, off reference data bundled with the page. There is no flight API to pay for, no render server, and nothing stored — so a document genuinely costs nothing to produce. Charging for exports would mean charging you for something we do not pay for.
The AI assistant is different: it calls a model, and that has a real per-request cost. That is the only thing behind the paywall. The lifetime option exists because most people who need this need it two or three times, not every month, and a subscription is the wrong shape for them.
