Cookie Policy

How FlyProof uses cookies and similar technologies — and how you control the optional ones.

Template — have counsel review before launch.

What cookies are

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Some are needed for the site to work; others are optional and help us understand how the site is used. We group ours into essential and analytics.

Essential cookies (always on)

These are required to run the site and complete a booking. They cannot be switched off.

  • Session and security cookies used by our authentication provider (Supabase) to keep a request secure.
  • Checkout cookies set by our payment processor (Stripe) when you pay for a reservation.
  • A small preference that remembers your cookie choice on this banner.

Analytics cookies (optional — off until you accept)

We use PostHog to understand which pages and steps help travelers, so we can improve the flow. These cookies are not set until you choose “Accept” in the cookie banner, and you can decline them with no loss of functionality.

We also use Vercel Analytics for privacy-friendly, aggregate traffic measurement. It is designed to run without cookies and without tracking you across sites.

Managing your choice

You can decline analytics in the banner, or clear this site’s cookies in your browser to be asked again. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Declining analytics does not affect your ability to book, retrieve, or get a refund on a reservation.

Third parties that may set cookies

The vendors that help us run FlyProof are listed on our subprocessors page. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal data.
